A blast was heard near Levies Check Post in Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with Afghanistan. Initial information suggests, the blast happened at Roghani Levies Check Post. Some people are injured as a result of the blast, Levies said. Six people have been injured as a result of the blast, Levies sources said.

Two levies are also among the injured, hospital sources said. All of the injured of the blast were shifted to district headquarters hospital Chaman for medical treatment. An emergency was imposed in the hospital to provide timely medical treatment to the injured of the blast.

Levies, Police and FC personnel reached the spot of the blast

A large number of personnel of law enforcement agencies reached the spot and put a cordon off the area to probe into the incident. Security was tightened in and around the bordering city after the blast.

CM Bizenjo condemns the attack

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has strongly condemned the terrorist attack. In a statement issued on Friday evening, the CM said the terrorists would be brought to justice.
