Landmine explosion kills one person in Dukki Balochistan

A landmine explosion has killed one person in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Sunday morning. Hazrat Wali Kakar, the Assistant Commissioner of Dukki said the blast happened in the Takri area of the district. The victim identified as Khwaja Muhammad was driving a car when it hit a landmine planted on the roadside.

“There was a huge blast”, Mr. Kakar said. The victim was seriously injured and succumbed to injuries on his way to the hospital. The vehicle was also damaged in the blast.

Levies personnel reached the spot of the blast after the incident and started an investigation. “We are investigating the blast”, the Assistant Commissioner stated.

 Landmine explosions claim scores of precious human lives

Landmine explosions have claimed scores of precious human lives in Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, and other parts of Balochistan. This incident has come two days after a similar landmine blast killed four people of the peace force in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district.

A levies man who was the cousin of ruling party Balochistan Awami Party’s senator Sarfaraz Bugti was also among the dead.
