ANP leader Omar Khitab Sherani laid to rest in Zhob

The slain Awami National Party (ANP) leader Omar Khitab Sherani was laid to rest in Balochistan’s Zhob city on Sunday morning.
Sherani was killed in a firing incident outside his residence in Dera Ismail Khan during a campaign for local bodies elections. He was the party’s candidate for mayor.
Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, the Chief of Jamiat ul Ulema e Pakistan offered the funeral prayer. A large number of people belonging to various walks of life participated in the funeral prayer.
Central and provincial leaders of ANP have expressed grief and sorrows over the sudden killing of Omar Khitab. The party has demanded an immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the attack.
