Nude videos scandal: Quetta police detain brother of the key accused

Quetta police detained the brother of the key accused involved in making nude videos of girls on Thursday. Police said the accused identified as Hidayat Khilji was raping and filming girls in Quetta’s Nichar road.

“We have detained Khalil Ahmed, the brother of the accused”, Ejaz Ahmed, a Quadabad police officer said. He said police were interrogating the brother of the mastermind behind making nude videos of girls.

Hidayat is accused of blackmailing girls and promising government jobs to them. Quaidabad police registered a case against the accused on an application filed by one of the mothers of the victims. The woman had accused both brothers Hidayat and Khalil of blackmailing her daughters.

“We have seized nude videos of girls from the custody of Khilji”, the police officer Mr. Ahmed mentioned. He said a high-level police investigation team was formed to interrogate the accused in this regard.

Police produced the accused of the court of a judicial magistrate in Quetta. The court granted a seven-day remand to the police. “Police conducting raids to arresting remaining members of the gang”, Mr. Ahmed informed.

People belonging to various walks of life took to social media networks Facebook and Twitter and demanded exemplary punishment for the accused. They said police have to also recover two ‘missing’ girls as early as possible. There was no immediate response from police about the reported missing of two girls.
