Session Court convicts a child rapist of 3 years RI in Quetta

Session court in Quetta has convicted a child rapist of three years rigorous imprisonment (RI) on Wednesday. District and Session Judge Quetta, Muhammad Dawood Khan Nasar has convicted the rapist to three years RI and Rs. 50,000 fine.

In the case of non-payment, the accused has to spend more time behind the bar, court sources told daily Quetta Voice. According to the prosecution, the accused Zaitullah had subjected an eleven-year-old boy to sexual abuse in the Pashtoonabad area of Quetta city.

Police had registered a case against the accused and arrested him from the Usman Bagh area of Pashtoonabad. Police had submitted a challan in the court after registration of the case. While announcing the judgement, the court convicted the accused to three years RI and a fine.

This conviction by the Session Court has come a day after the same court convicted another child rapist to 10 years RI in Quetta
