Bolan Mail resumes service from Quetta to Karachi

QUETTA: Pakistan Railways has resumed Bolan Mail service from Quetta to Karachi on Wednesday morning. Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Qasim Suri, Qasim Ronjho, the Chairman Senate’s Standing Committee on Pakistan Railways inaugurated the restoration of Bolan Mail.

“Restoration of train service is a good step”, Mr. Suri told the inaugural ceremony. He said the present government has decided to facilitate the masses. However, the outbreak of COVID19 severely affected routine life across the country.

Passengers appeared to be happy over the restoration of Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi. “We are happy to be back on the train”, Muhammad Rasool, a passenger traveling to Karachi told Quetta Voice. Like Muhammad Rasool, all the passengers were happy about the restoration of the train service.

The Deputy Speaker NA hinted at the restoration of Akbar Bugti express soon to facilitate the masses of Balochistan. He stated that gradually train service from Balochistan would be improved.

Mr. Suri thus spoke at length about the present government’s development initiatives in Balochistan. He said the government would soon start work on the dualization of Chaman Karachi and Kuchlak Zhob highways to address the travel difficulties of the masses.
