Portfolios allotted to Balochistan cabinet members, advisers

QUETTA: After eight days, portfolios have been allotted to Balochistan cabinet members, parliamentary secretaries, and advisers. Sardar Saleh Bhootani has been appointed as the Senior Minister Balochistan government. Mr. Bhootani has been allotted the portfolio of local bodies and rural development, a press release by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat said on Monday evening.

The Balochistan Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) issued a notification in this regard. Most of the ministers, advisers, and parliamentary secretaries belong to the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP).

Zahoor Buledi has been assigned the portfolio of planning and development department, Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, services, and general administration department (S&GAD), Asad Baloch, Agriculture, Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri, Irrigation, Mir Sikandar Ali Umrani, Board of Revenue, Haji Akbar Askani, Fisheries, and Livestock

Zamarak Achakzai assigned a portfolio of food

Engineer Zamarak Achakzai, Food Department, Haji Noor Muhammad Dumar, Finance, Mir Naseebullah Marri, Education and Higher Secondary Education, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Communication and Works Department, Syed Ehsan Shah, Health, Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Sports, Culture, Archives, Mobeen Ahmed Khilji, Science and Information Technology.

Advisers:

Gohar Bugti was assigned the portfolio of labor and manpower, Abdul Rasheed Baloch, Public Health Engineering Department, Sardar Masood Luni, Transport and Population Welfare, Mir Niamatullah Zehri, Energy Department, Ziaullah Langove, Home and Tribal Affairs.

Parliamentary Secretaries:

Bushra Rind, Social Welfare and Information, Mahjabeen Sherani, Women Development, Laila Tareen, Excise and Taxation, Mitha Khan Kakar, Mines, and Mineral Development, Khalil George, Minority Affairs and Human Rights and Haji Toor Utmankhail, Industries.

Lawmakers from the Awami National Party (ANP), Hazara Democratic Party (HDP), Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), and Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) are also part of the provincial cabinet. The cabinet was sworn in on November 7 in the aftermath of the resignation of chief minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan.
