Chief Minister Balochistan, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo took notice of the protest of university students on Tuesday. The CM has constituted a parliamentary committee to hold dialogue with protesting students, an official handout said.

The CM has directed the committee to submit its report within the next 24 hours to the government. The UoB has also announced to close the university from November 10 for an indefinite period. All educational and administrative affairs of the university would remain suspended, a press release issued by the university said.

All examinations starting from November 10 would also be suspended, it mentioned. The university would also issue separate directives for the students living in hostels. Students staged a protest demonstration outside the UoB against what they asserted kidnapping of two students. They threatened to intensify their protest if the government failed to recover the students.
