Allegation of kidnapping MPAs is baseless: Liaquat Shahwani

Manan Mandokhail :

QUETTA: The spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani has said the allegation of kidnapping four members of the provincial assembly is baseless and far from reality. Speaking at a news conference, Mr. Shahwani said the opposition and angry members of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) have leveled baseless allegations against the government.

“One angry member said in a tweet that she is ill”, he said, rejecting the allegation of kidnapping by the opposition and BAP disgruntled members. “If the members are missing then why their family members are not coming out”, the Spokesman stated.

He said angry members have launched propaganda at the behest of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) against the Balochistan government. He reiterated that opposition and angry members would be defeated on October 25 in Balochistan Assembly.

“We will defeat them on Monday”, Liaquat Shahwani said. None can detain a woman and it is against the norms and values of our society in Balochistan, he said.
