Noor Muhammad Dumar announces resignation as Balochistan Minister

QUETTA: Noor Muhammad Durmar, the Balochistan Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE) announced his resignation as minister on Wednesday evening. Dumar joined the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) angry group.

The ruling party minister’s resignation has come hours after the BAP angry members tabled a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. “I have decided to resign as minister”, he said.

“Jab Sab violated the decision of the party leaders”, Mr. Dumar told journalists outside the assembly secretariat. He said the incumbent CM has lost the majority in the house of 65.

He asserted that 90 percent of party leaders including the founder of the BAP have abandoned Chief Minister Balochistan.
