CM Jam Kamal calls on Maulana Wasey in Karachi

KARACHI: Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan called on Maulana Wasey, the provincial amir of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F) on Thursday. The CM inquired about the health of the JUI (F) Amir.

“Jam Sab inquired about my health”, the Maulana told Quetta Voice via telephone. The Maulana is in Karachi for last more than a month after surgery. This is the first meeting between CM Balochistan and Maulana Wasey.

Sources close to Maulana Wasey claimed that the two leaders also discussed unfolding political events in Balochistan. “Support or opposition is the mandate of Malik Sikandar Advocate”, Maulana Wasey’s response to the CM was quoted by sources. They preferred not to share more details.

CM’s visit has come two weeks after the joint opposition submitted a no-confidence motion against him. The JUI F, Balochistan National Party (Mengal), and PKMAP had submitted a no-confidence motion against CM Jam Kamal Khan on September¬† 16.

Provincial ministers including Mir Ziaullah Langove, Saleem Khoso, Senator Danesh Kumar, and former provincial minister Mir Faiq Ali Jamali were also present on the occasion.
