KSF ready to support Balochistan Govt to run non-functional schools

Chief of Kaka Shaheed Foundation (KSF) and tribal elder, Ahmed Khan Achakzai has announced to support the Balochistan government to make non-functional schools functional across the province. “We extend all possible support to the government in this regard”, Mr. Achakzai told reporters at a local hotel in Quetta.

Earlier, Naseebullah Khan Kakar, a young scholar from Gulistan of district Killa Abdullah thoroughly briefed the journalists about the KSF for the promotion of education. Tribal elders were also present on the occasion.

Mr. Achakzai stated that KSF has given a proposal of public-private partnership to the Balochistan government for making non-functional schools functional for the promotion of education. “This is the only way for the development and prosperity of the country and nation”, he mentioned.

Over 300 students from marginalized families enrolled in KSF school 

KSF has established a school in the tribal disputes-hit Gulistan tehsil. Over 300 students from poor and marginalized families are enrolled in the school, Naseebullah Kakar informed the journalists.

Ahmed Khan Achakzai noted that the literacy rate in Balochistan’s Khanozai area was 98 percent. “We are proud of the people of Khanozai”, he stated.

He urged the journalists to play their due role in the promotion of education in the province.

Achakzai said that Gulistan and district Killa Abdullah have faced the brunt of tribal disputes. “I am ready to play firefighters role to end tribal disputes”, he announced.

Tribal disputes have claimed hundreds of precious human lives during the last three decades. Disputes have severely impacted the socio-economic development and the education sector in the area. “The administration was missing for a long time in the area”, Ahmed Khan Achakzai mentioned.

He urged all tribesmen and political parties to join their hands and end tribal disputes.
