Blast injured 11 in Quetta

A blast has injured 11 people including 5 children in Quetta’s Sur Pul area of Kharotabad. Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at a stall in the Sur Pul area.

The attack left 11 people including 5 injured. The injured were rushed to civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment. Emergency imposed in the hospital to provide medical treatment to injured of the blast.

Police and personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Security tightened in and around Quetta in the aftermath of the blast.

This incident has come a day after low-scale blasts in Quetta’s Kechi Baig and Sirki road areas.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has strongly condemned the terrorist incident. In a statement issued on Saturday evening, the CM said the perpetrators of the blast would be brought to justice.
Jam Kamal said some elements were trying to create unrest in Balochistan at the behest of their foreign masters.
