CJ BHC takes notice of COVID19 outbreak in Mekran division

QUETTA: Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC), Mr. Justice Jamal Mandokhail has taken notice of the outbreak of COVID19 in the Mekran division on Saturday. “Secretary health should step up efforts to provide necessary equipment in the area”, an official handout quoted the CJ BHC.

Justice Mandokhail directed the health department to provide extra COVID19 test kits to the Mekran division to boost testing capacity. CJ’s notice has come after rising of COVID19 cases in the Turbat, Gwadar and Panjgoor districts of Mekran belt.

Mekran division should be linked with Quetta’s Fatima Jinnah Chest and TB Hospital. The Secretary of Health Balochistan was directed to submit a report in this regard.

Justice Mandokhail has also directed the lower judiciary to ensure immediate disposal of cases. There should be now crowds inside courts, he ordered.
