Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) has staged a protest demonstration against the alleged kidnapping of Ulasyar, the son of the member provincial assembly, Nasrullah Zarai. Party workers gathered outside Quetta Press Club and demanded the arrest of the accused involved in the kidnapping.

“The party would not step back from its constitutional struggle”, Rahim Ziaratwal, the central leader of PKMAP said. The party leaders also addressed a press conference earlier.

Mr. Zairai asserted that the unknown accused had kidnapped his minor son Ulasyar from the Bareech colony area the other day. The incident has been widely condemned by political parties and members of civil society. Moreover, the police have not issued any statement in this regard.

“Despite threats and intimidation, I will keep continuing my struggle for Pashtoons”, Nasrullah Zarai told the flag-waving supporters. He said the party would make no compromise over the supremacy of the constitution and democratic institutions.

The administration had taken strict security measures to maintain order during the protest.

Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, PML (N) provincial president Jamal Shah Kakar and others have strongly condemned the incident and demanded of the government to apprehend the elements involved.
