Mumtaz Bhutto passes away, Governor, CM Balochistan express condolence

Former Sindh Chief Minister, Mumtaz Bhutto breathed his last on Sunday in a private hospital in Karachi. Late Bhutto was 94 years old. Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Mumtaz Bhutto and prayed that may Allah rests the departed soul in peace.

Ibrahim Abro, the Spokesman for the family said that late Bhutto was ill for the last few days. He was admitted to a  private hospital in Karachi for medical treatment. On Sunday morning, Mumtaz Bhutto’s condition deteriorated and breathed his last in the hospital, Mr. Abro stated.

Dead body to be taken to Larkana 

The dead body would be taken to Larkana for burial. A cousin and close aide of PPP founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mumtaz Bhutto had parted ways with the PPP to form his own party — the Sindh National Front (SNF) — in 1989. He has served as both chief minister and governor of Sindh.

Governor, CM Balochistan express condolences

Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of the former Sindh CM. In a statement issued here on Sunday, Mr. Agha said that the country was deprived of a visionary politician.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of former Sindh CM and Governor. Late Bhutto had played an important role in the development of country and nation, Jam Kamal said in a statement.
