Usman Kakar’s dead body brought to Quetta in a procession from Karachi

The dead body of Usman Khan Kakar, the central leader of Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) brought to Quetta from Karachi on Monday evening in a procession. A large number of political workers from various political parties were part of the procession.

PKMAP, Balochistan National Party (Mengal), National Party (NP), Awami National Party (ANP), and traders community have announced mourning regarding the demise of Kakar.

“Funeral prayer of the former Senator would be offered in his hometown Muslim Bagh on Wednesday evening”, Raza Muhammad Raza, the Central Secretary Information said.

BNP (M), NP, JUI (F) workers paid rich tribute to Usman Kakar 

On the way from Karachi to Quetta, workers of BNP (M), NP, Jamiat ul Ulema Islam (F) paid rich tribute to the PKMAP leader, Usman Kakar. Flags-waving supporters of the political parties chanted slogans of the former Senator and expressed sympathies with his family members.

“Some anti-state elements are politicizing the sad demise of Usman Kakar”, Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove told a news conference in Quetta.

However, Khushal Khan, the son of Usman Khan Kakar has demanded a probe into what he called the murder of his father. “We are ready for any kind of investigation”, the Minister assured.

Kakar admitted to hospital on June 17 in Quetta’s private hospital 

Usman Kakar was at his home in Quetta on June 17, when his cerebral artery ruptured. Kakar was rushed to the hospital soon after the incident. Kakar remained admitted to two private hospitals in Quetta.

Kakar airlifted from Quetta to Karachi

Former Senator airlifted from Quetta to Karachi for medical treatment. Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah had spoken to PKMAP Chief, Mehmood Khan Achazkai and conveyed the message of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Sindh government provided official treatment to Mr. Kakar in Aga Khan hospital Karachi.

He however breathed his last on Sunday evening at the Aga Khan hospital Karachi.
