Govt plans to establish a facility like Islamabad Monal in Quetta: Jam Kamal

The Balochistan government has decided to establish a facility like Islamabad’s famous Monal in Quetta. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan took to social media network Twitter and sought suggestions from people about the name of the facility.

“Quetta shall provide its own charm and view from here”, Jam Kamal said. This would be a place for an outing, change, and dining, he added. “We are planning to establish three locations like this one”, Jam Kamal told Quetta Voice. The project including road and infrastructure would be completed by 2022, the CM informed.

CM suggested 4 names for the location and asked people to select one 

The CM also suggested four names i.e Quettawal, Shabaan, Urak, and Zarghoon for the restaurant that would provide Islamabad Monal-like opportunities to the people.

In another tweet, Jam Kamal said, “what we promised we delivered on the ground and that’s why I share every proof and thing with you all”. A large number of people responded to the CM and appreciated his efforts for the promotion of tourism and the soft image of Balochistan.

Proposed facility to open new vistas of employment and development 

The people also said the proposed project would open new vistas of development and prosperity in the provincial capital and attract tourists from across the country and abroad. The Chief Minister said the province has made a positive stride toward ensuring peace, development and was determined to make sure a better future for the next generation.

Balochistan hosts famous tourist locations

Balochistan, which covers half of the country in terms of area hosts important tourist locations including more than 700 km long coastal belt, Ziarat juniper forest, Kalat Harboi, Hinglaj Mata, and MeharGarh’s ancient civilization. Kund Malir is located at the coastal belt of the Arabian sea and featured among 50 top Asian beaches.
