Polio campaign postpones for the third time in Balochistan
Health Desk:

The anti-Polio campaign in Balochistan postponed for the third time on Tuesday. The campaign postponed because of protest by government employees in Balochistan, an official of the health department said. Earlier, the government had announced to launch the stalled campaign on April 7 in Quetta and other 34 districts of Balochistan.

Countrywide anti-polio campaign conducted on March 29

The campaign was scheduled to be launched on March 29 like in other parts of the country. However, the Balochistan government postponed the campaign due to employees strike.

Balochistan has reported one polio case during the year 2021. The case reported from Balochistan’s Killa Abdullah district. Quetta, Pishin, and Killa Abdullah districts are the most vulnerable and sensitive districts regarding the crippling virus.
