Nauroz celebrations: PakIran border closes at Taftan

Pak-Iran border Taftan closed for 10 days on the eve of Nauroz celebrations in Iran. Iranian authorities have closed zero point and trade gate on the eve of Nauroz celebrations.

“Iranian authorities have closed the border”, Zahoor Ahmed, the Tehsildar Taftan said.

All trade activities suspended at the border 

All trade activities suspended owing to the closure of the Pak-Iran border Taftan. The two countries also tightened security on both sides of the border. Pakistan has already deployed the frontier corps personnel at the border to make sure legal movement.

Most of the people running their business at Zero Point on the Pakistan side left for their hometowns after closing their shops and business centers.

Every year, the Iranians celebrate Nauroz on March 19. The celebrations will continue for 10 days in almost all parts of Iran.
