Armed men opened fire and killed 4 in Osta Muhammad

Armed men opened fire and killed 4 people in Balochistan’s Osta Muhammad area on Monday morning. Police said armed men opened fire at a house in the Gandakha area and killed four people.

2 children injured in the attack 

The firing also left two children injured. The injured rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Police reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway. “The incident was the result of a tribal dispute”, Iftikhar Ahmed, the Superintendent of Police said.

House of Hameedullah Mengal attacked

He said armed men opened fire at the house of Hameedullah Mengal. Four people identified as Zafarullah, Manzoor Mengal, Nasir Ali and Bakhsh Ali died on the spot.

“Police are trying to arrest the culprits”, Mr. Ahmed said. Panic prevailed in the area in the aftermath of the armed attack at the house of Hameedullah Mengal. Policemen deployed in the area to avert another untoward incident after the attack.

In Balochistan, tribal disputes have claimed scores of precious human lives. Land disputes among tribes have become almost the order of the day in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.
