Customs Gwadar seized 7 non-custom paid vehicles

Customs Gwadar has launched a crack-down against non-customs paid vehicles on the coastal highways. Sources in customs said 7 non-customs paid vehicles seized at Pasni, Jewni, and Ormara.

The crackdown launched against non-customs paid vehicles throughout the province on the directives of chief collector customs Gul Rehman. The number of NCP vehicles across the province is in the thousands.

Collector customs Gwadar Dr. Tahir Qureshi said a crackdown against the NCP vehicles would be intensified in the coastal belt. Customs have intensified operations against smugglers and owners of NCP vehicles in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

However, the influential people manage to drive NCP vehicles despite a ban in urban and rural parts of Balochistan. Customs directorate has recently given a stern warning about the NCP vehicles and launched a crackdown in this regard.
