Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove has said 300 missing persons have returned to their homes in the province. In a statement issued by the Balochistan information ministry, the minister mentioned that the missing persons returned to their homes with the cooperation of the federal government.

Mr. Langove said family members of the missing persons have also confirmed the return of their relatives. From the very first day, the Balochistan government has been making efforts to recover missing persons, the minister added.

Missing persons organization had submitted a list of 400 people 

The Balochistan home minister said the organization of missing persons had given a list of 400 missing persons to the government. “We are trying for the recovery of remaining people”, Mr. Langove said. This statement on the part of the minister has come few days after the missing person families protest in Islamabad.

Fencing at Pak-Afghan border to stop subversive activities

About the fencing of the Pak-Afghan border, the minister said that this will help stop illegal movement at the border. The number of terrorist incidents also decreased after the fencing of the border, the minister mentioned. The government was trying hard to wipe out terrorists operating at the border, he said.

Meetings held with tribal elders 

He however said the government has held consultative meetings with tribal elders with regard to solutions to their issues at the border. The government has assured addressing the grievances of the tribal people near the Pak-Afghan border.

A meeting under the home minister the other day assured addressing settlement issues at the border. The minister had earlier stated that 83 percent of work on the border already completed by the government.
