Jam Kamal kicks off Balochistan COVID19 vaccination drive

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan witnessed the launching of the COVID19 vaccination drive on Wednesday morning at the CM secretariat. Chief Secretary Balochistan, Fazeel Asghar informed that the federal government will be providing 10,000 vaccines to the province to battle the deadly virus.
The first dose of corona vaccine provided to Dr. Aftab Kakar in Balochistan during the launching ceremony. The government has decided to provide corona vaccines to health professionals battling the deadly virus from the front. After health professionals, coroa vaccine doses would be provided to people above the age of 65 years, CS Balochistan said.
Balochistan receives 5000 doses of corona vaccineÂ
“The province has already received 5000 doses of vaccine“, he mentioned.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Balochistan said health workers battled the COVID19 at the cost of their lives. He said the government has decided to provide corona vaccines to health professionals in the first phase.
The whole world has been battling the virus since its outbreak, Jam Kamal said. He however said Pakistan has successfully battled the deadly virus with a good strategy.
Govt decides to launch corona vaccination campaign across Balochistan
CM said the government is going to launch a corona vaccination campaign throughout Balochistan. The health department would provide doses of corona vaccines to all districts, Noor ul Haq Baloch, the Secretary of health Balochistan said.
Health department to ensure transparency
Mr. Baloch said merit and transparency would be maintained in the distribution of the corona vaccine. He said the health department has already evolved a strategy with regard to the distribution of the corona vaccine. Mr. Baloch said the health department has established teams to make the campaign a success.
