India behind sectarian terrorist acts in Pakistan: Prime Minister

Prime Minister, Imran Khan on Saturday said India was behind sectarian terrorist attacks to create unrest in Pakistan. Speaking to members of the ethnic Shia Hazara community, the Prime Minister stated that he had already received intelligence reports that India was planning sectarian terrorist attacks in Pakistan to create unrest. “It is crystal clear that India is behind terrorist attacks in Balochistan”, Imran Khan said. He however stated that the terrorists involved in the Mach attack would be brought to justice.
PM assures protection to Hazara community
Prime Minister, Imran Khan also assured protection to the ethnic Shia Hazara community. The premier met family members of slain miners at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University and assured them that the perpetrators of the terrorist would not be spared.
The PM offered fateha for the departed souls of coal miners and expressed grief and sorrows with the victims’ families. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, federal interior minister, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, federal minister Ali Zaidi and other high ups also accompanied the premier during his meeting with the families of the victims.
Grievances of Hazara community to be addressed: Imran Khan
“PM has promised to address all our grievances”, Agha Raza, one of the members of a 14-member Hazara sit-in committee told reporters. About the blackmailing remarks, Agha Raza said the PM said the blackmailing words used against PDM leaders rather than the Hazara community.
Mr. Agha informed that Imran Khan has assured to pay compensation to the families of victims.
The PM also chaired a high-level meeting to review the security situation in the aftermath of Mach coal miners’ killings. Governor Balochistan, Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai, chief minister Jam Kamal Khan, commander southern command Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali, and other high-level officials attended the meeting.
