“Do not link burial of dead bodies with arrival of PM”, Jam Kamal’s appeal to Hazara community

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has made a passionate appeal to the protesting Hazara community to avoid linking the burial of victims of the terrorist incident with the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Yes the PM will come but first of all, bury the dead bodies”, the Chief Minister told reporters in Quetta on Wednesday. The Chief Minister also visited the location of the sit-in staged by the Hazara community. The mourners refused to end the protest despite the assurance of Jam Kamal Khan for arresting the killers.

Protest underway for fourth consecutive day

The members of the ethnic Shia Hazara community kept continued their sit-in for the fourth consecutive day despite chilly weather. They have also brought the dead bodies of the miners on the road to mount pressure on the government to apprehend the killers.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal visited Quetta’s Hazara town and offered fateha for the departed souls of coal miners murdered in Mach area. Federal minister, Ali Zaidi, prime minister’s special assistant Zulfi Bukhari, provincial ministers, and other high ups accompanied the chief minister.

CM arrives from Dubai on Wednesday morning

CM Balochistan arrived from Dubai on Wednesday morning and chaired a high-level meeting in the aftermath of the brutal murder of 11 coal miners in the Mach area of Bolan. Gunmen had killed 11 coal miners in the Gashtari area of Mach in the wee hours of Sunday.

In the high-level meeting, home minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove, officials from the frontier corps, police, and other law enforcement agencies participated. The meeting thoroughly discussed all ways and means to apprehend the killers of coal miners.

“Perpetrators would be brought to book”, CM Balochistan 

“Perpetrators of the Mach tragedy would be brought to justice”, Jam Kamal said according to an official handout issued on Wednesday. The Chief Minister directed the law enforcement agencies to step up efforts to bust terrorist gangs and arrest the culprits.
