5 killed in a firing incident in Balochistan Panjgoor

At least 5 people were killed in a firing incident in Balochistan’s Panjgoor district on Wednesday. Razzaq Sasoli, the Deputy Commissioner said the incident happened in the Parom area of Panjgoor district. Three people also injured in the firing incident, Mr. Sasoli informed. The injured shifted to the district headquarters hospital for medical treatment. Emergency imposed in the hospital to treat the injured of the firing incident.

Dead bodies shifted to Panjgoor hospital: Deputy Commissioner

The dead bodies shifted to district headquarters hospital Panjgoor for postmortem. Hospital sources said all the victims have received multiple bullet injuries. Levies said armed accused opened an indiscriminate firing on the people. The accused escaped unhurt from the spot after the attack.

Levies and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. The Deputy Commissioner said the incident was the result of a tribal clash near the Iranian border.

Parom area is located near the Pak-Iran border. Thousands of illegal immigrants have been using the area to sneak into Iran on their way to European countries. Very few illegal immigrants succeed in reaching European countries. Most of the illegal immigrants are either caught in Iran or Turkey.
