Murder, Rape of a girl: Mastung court convicts accused to life imprisonment

MASTUNG: District and Session Judge convicted an accused involved in the murder and rape of a girl to life imprisonment. The judge announced the verdict on Wednesday. The accused had kidnapped the victim Bibi Farzana from her house in the Khad Kucha area of Mastung district, sources in court said.
The convicted accused Najeebullah had kidnapped the victim from her house during 2019. The aggrieved father of the victim Abdul Manan nominated Najeebullah in the murder of his daughter. A case registered against the accused in Khad Kucha levies station.

Levies force timely acted and arrested the accused Najeebullah from the Khad Kucha area of Mastung district. The court convicted the accused of life imprisonment after getting concrete evidence about his involvement in the murder and rape of the girl.
Other co-accused of Najeebullah are still at large, levies said. In Balochistan, violence against women increased to a dangerous level. Women’s rights and human rights groups have expressed serious concern about the increasing incidents of violence against women in the province.
“We want the arrest of all accused involved in violence against women”, Allauddin Khilji, the Chief of Aurat Foundation said. He however stated that very few accused are arrested.
