Pakistan China time-tested friends: Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai said that Pakistan and China and Pakistan are great friends sharing mutual trust, respect, and the commitment to safeguarding national interests.

In a message on the eve of independence day of China, Governor Yasinzai said that China has emerged as a global champion of peace-keeping, international humanitarian relief, and promoting economic cooperation around the globe.

He said China’s Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) is a historic initiative that will connect the world and provide means of cooperation in trade, commerce. The Governor stated that people to people connectivity would improve as frequent exchanges will allow people to understand the cultures and traditions of each other.

Governor Balochistan said that the year 2020 has been a tough year for the entire world as the COVID19 not only slowed down global economic development but also resulted in a great loss of precious human lives.

During this time China although being severely affected by the virus still not only gave an exemplary performance in combating the virus by providing first-class health-care and economic relief to its citizens, but the country also contributed a lot in providing health supplies and other major aids to many countries particularly Pakistan.
