FIA Quetta arrests child pornographer

QUETTA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a child pornographer on Tuesday. Investigation proved the accused involvement in sharing and watching a minor girl’s video in Quetta, Arsalan Manzoor, the head of FIA Cyber Crime Circle said. The FIA would produce the accused before the court of law to seek his remand soon.

The FIA raiding party conducted a raid in the outskirts of Quetta and arrested an accused involved in the pornography. “We are investigating the scandal”, Mr. Manzoor said. Sub-Inspector Israrullah Taj led the FIA raiding party to ensure the arrest of the culprit. The accused was also blackmailing family member of the minor girl through videos and photographs. “FIA quickly conducted a raid on the aggrieved family’s complaint”, Arsalan Manzoor mentioned.

2 Mobile phones seized

FIA recovered two mobile phones from the custody of the accused and got evidence of the accused involvement in the children pornography. A case registered against the accused picked up by the FIA. The accused shifted to FIA’s regional headquarter for interrogation. “More arrests are expected in the case”, another FIA official who declined to be named told the daily Quetta Voice. The FIA has launched a crack-down on the provincial level to arrest the culprits involved in child pornography and harassment of women.

The FIA has launched a crackdown against child pornographers across the country. Scores of pornographers arrested during the crackdown in various parts of the country.

“We are getting details from mobile phones of the accused”, Mr. Arsalan Manzoor informed. FIA Cyber Crime Circle had arrested two accused of harassing a woman through fake social media accounts in Quetta on July 16, 2020.Ā 

Online harassment of women and child pornography increased in Quetta like in other parts of the country recently.
