Saad Murder still shrouds in mystery

QUETTA: Saad Shah, a four-year-old kid’s murder still shrouds in mystery. Police found the dead body of Saad Shah inside his house located in Quetta’s Samungli town Lehri gate area on September 12. The innocent kid was brutally murdered. The incident sparked debate over social media with people asking for the arrest of the culprit involved in the murder of Saad Shah.

The parents of the kid nominated a maid working in their house in the murder of Saad Shah. The maid surrendered to the police in presence of her family members. Jinnah town police station got five days’ demand of the accused maid from judicial magistrate Quetta, Ihtiram ul Haq.

Maid’s remand extended for 3 days

The remand expired and police got another remand of three days of the maid from the judicial magistrate on Saturday. The maid was working in the house of Saad Shah for the last five months. The accused has denied her involvement in the murder of the innocent kid.

“A team formed to investigate the maid”, Chaudhary Asghar Mehmood, the Station House Officer (SHO) Jinnah Town told the daily Quetta Voice. The maid is yet to confess her involvement in the murder of an innocent kid, a police official who declined to be named said. Broken parents of the kid suffering from dumb agony and want justice for their son. Parents are passing sleepless nights since the tragedy, sources close to them narrate their ordeal.

“Our team is continuously investigating from the accused maid”, the SHO stated. Balochistan Police Chief, Mohsin Hassan Butt has also expressed grief over the killing of an innocent kid and directed police to make sure fair investigation into the case.

Violence against women and children increased recently in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.
