Fake domiciles: 135 found unverified in Musakhail

The district administration Musakhail has found 135 domicile certificates fake/unverified during the ongoing verification process in Balochistan. The provincial government directed all deputy commissioners to conduct verification of all federal government employees recruited on domicile certificates. “We could not verify 135 certificates despite three notices”, Muhammad Afzal Khosti, the Deputy Commissioner Musakhail said.

“Musakhail administration conducted scrutiny of domicile certificates of 249 federal employees”,  he told the daily Quetta Voice.

Fake domiciles: 135 found unverified in Musakhail 

The scrutiny team verified 109 domicile certificates out of a total 249 of federal employees in the district, he said. However, 135 domicile certificates could not be verified. The list of employees whose domicile certificates were canceled has been dispatched to the Governor’s secretariat and commissioner Zhob division, the officer mentioned.

BHC orders verification of domicile certificates 

The Balochistan High Court (BHC) Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, and Mr. Justice Abdul Hameed Baloch had also directed all deputy commissioners to complete the scrutiny process of domicile certificates within one month. The BHC division bench had asked all commissioners to supervise the verification process.

The Deputy Commissioner Mastung, Mehboob Achakzai has already canceled 400 fake domicile certificates. The Deputy Commissioner Quetta also canceled 122 fake domicile certificates during the verification process.

CM Balochistan directs

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal also directed the deputy commissioners to conduct fair verification of domicile certificates in the province. He said for the first time in the history of the province such a step was taken to uncover frauds.

A large number of people belonging to various parts of the country have succeeded in obtaining domicile certificates from Balochistan. Through, fake certificates, they have been succeeded in getting jobs on the reserved quota of Balochistan in various federal departments.

Prime Minister, Imran Khan had also directed all federal departments to ensure the appointment of youths of Balochistan in federal departments on the reserved provincial quota.

Musakhail is considered to be one of the most backward districts of Balochistan.
