The Counter-Terrorism Department (DTD) registered the First Information Report (FIR) against unknown terrorists in connection with the Sariab road blast. A motorcycle blast in Quetta’s Sariab road had injured 5 people.
Quetta blast: CTD registers FIR
The FIR was registered against unknown terrorists at the Kechi Baig Police Station, sources in the CTD told the daily Quetta Voice. In the case, attempt to murder, terrorism, and explosive acts were included, they informed.
Police said an improvised explosive device planted in a motorcycle went off with a big bang outside a mosque in Sariab road. As the people were coming out of Friday prayer, the IED went off. All five people injured in the blast were civilians.
There has been no claim of responsibility for the blast.
