At least three people were injured in a blast in Balochistan’s Mastung city on Thursday. Police said unknown miscreants had planted a bomb beneath a cart outside a government-run school in Mastung bazar. The bomb went off with a big bang, injuring three people including a woman.

The injured were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Police and other law enforcement agencies personnel reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway. The intensity of the blast also smashed the glasses of nearby shops.

This incident has come a day after a blast killed a child and injured another 6 in Quetta.

Pillion riding banned: 

In view of recent bomb explosions, the home and tribal affairs department has imposed a ban on pillion riding in Balochistan for 20 days. The decision to impose a ban on pillion riding has been made owing to terrorism threats, a notification issued by the home department said.
