The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) announced results of 9th and 10th class as per a uniformed policy of the federal government based on past result-assessments of students. Without examination, the BBISE announced results owing to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, chairman BBISE Professor Yousaf Baloch said the passing percentage of the students was 78.73 percent in the 10th class examination. He informed that Shakir Khan of the Balochistan Residential College Loralai got the first position while getting 1040 marks. Sarmad Shabir and Kamil  Khan both got the second position with 1032 numbers. However, Syed Abdullah Shah Bukhari of BRC Loralai got the third position, Professor Baloch mentioned.

In the examination based on last year’s figures, the number of candidates was 1,28,598. However, a special examination would be conducted for 13,907 students between September to November this year, the Chairman board informed, giving no exact date about the examination.

All  58,771 students of the ninth class have been promoted to class 10th in province.
