Three security personnel were martyred when terrorists opened fire on them in Balochistan’s Panjgoor district on Tuesday, the military’s media wing said. Eight personnel of the security forces were injured in the terrorist attack in Gichak valley of Panjgoor district.

The injured security personnel were brought to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta for medical treatment. The security personnel were on routine patrolling when fired upon by terrorists in the area. The injured soldiers include an officer. Five of the injured security personnel are in critical condition, the statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Governor Balochistan, Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai has strongly condemned the terrorist incident and expressed condolence with the family members of martyred soldiers.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan in a statement soon after the incident said that the perpetrators of the terror incident would be brought to book. He said a handful of elements have been playing in the hands of foreign elements who are trying to create unrest in Balochistan.

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove has also strongly condemned the terrorist incident and said that the government would not bow down before the terrorists and that the perpetrators would be brought to book.
