Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani has warned that cases of novel coronavirus are likely to reach 20,000 by the end of July this year. Addressing a press conference on Monday, Mr. Shahwani stated that cases of the virus continue to increase in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

“Within one week, 1661 cases came”, he said. He said 70 percent of the total coronavirus cases were reported within one month since the cases appear to be on a constant rise in Balochistan.

The Spokesman government of Balochistan said currently 120 ventilators were available in hospitals of the province. The condition of 8 patients admitted in Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital and Sheikh Zayed Hospital was serious.

Stranded Pakistanis in Gulf: 

The Spokesman government of Balochistan informed that currently 2,500 people from the province were stranded in Gulf countries. He said efforts were being made to bring back the stranded people soon.

PSDP: 

Liaquat Shahwani informed that Balochistan had 16 per cent share in the federal public sector development program. He said the Prime Minister has assured inclusion of Balochistan’s schemes in the federal PSDP.
