Balochistan has confirmed 445, the highest number of novel coronavirus cases in one day since the outbreak of the pandemic. With the confirmation of fresh cases, the tally has reached 6,221 in Balochistan.

The virus has caused 54 deaths in the province. According to the daily situation report released by the Corona Cell on Saturday, the laboratory conducted over 1,400 tests, and out of them 445 were declared positive. Most of the patients belong to Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.

The virus has spread to 27 districts of Balochistan. However, most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Jaffarabad, Killa Saifullah and Pishin.

The Corona Cell said that over 2,100 people have recovered from the deadly virus. Most of the patients have recovered at their homes while battling the virus.
