DG PDMA Balochistan, Imran Zarkoon: Photo taken from his Twitter account

The Director-General, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Imran Zarkoon has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. “Some coronavirus symptoms developed the other day, then my test came positive”, Mr. Zarkoon told the daily Quetta Voice on Wednesday.

Mr. Zarkoon has been active in discharging his official responsibilities since the outbreak of coronavirus and closure of Pak-Iran and Pak-Afghan borders. Since then, he has been looking after relief activities in the province.

“My condition is improving and will defeat the disease”, he said. PDMA has been engaged in relief activities in coronavirus affected areas of Balochistan and providing relief goods to the deserving and needy segment of the society.
