Bilal Noorzai murder: Quetta court convicts 5 accused to 43 years RI each

The Balochistan government has constituted a joint interrogation team (JIT) to probe into the murder of a young man, Bilal Noorzai in Quetta’s Hazara town area the other day. The JIT comprises eight members including from police, FIA and other secret agencies to probe into the tragic incident.

A young man Bilal Noorzai was lynched to death by a mob in Quetta’s Hazara town. The murder prompted the people to stage a protest demonstration near the chief minister secretariat for the arrest of killers. Within 15 days, the JIT would submit its report to the Balochistan government in this regard, the notification said.

Police have already arrested 12 accused in connection with the murder of a young man. A senior police officer who declined to be named told the daily Quetta Voice the main accused Jawad has also been arrested. Four the arrested accused were nominated by the heirs of Bilal Noorzai, he said.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan also took to Twitter and announced that FIR has been lodged against the accused in connection with the murder of Bilal Noorzai.
