Angry protesters chanting slogans against the absence of doctors from district headquarters hospital Musakhail

From Our Correspondent:

Angry protesters burnt tires at main Musakhail Bazar to protest over the absence of doctors at district headquarters hospital on Friday morning. Abdul Jabbar, a resident of Musakhail who was leading the protest claimed that no doctor was available in the hospital, and patients were the worst sufferers.

The protesters chanted slogans against the district administration and medical superintendent of the hospital and demanded the presence of doctors and other health professionals in the hospital. “None was present at the hospital when the patients went in there in the morning”, Jabbar claimed.

There was no immediate reaction from the health department government of Balochistan.

Later on, police reached the spot of the protest and negotiated with protesters and the protest ended peacefully.
