The novel coronavirus cases have reached 3,468 across Balochistan on Monday evening. The province has confirmed 61 fresh cases of the deadly virus. The pandemic has caused 41 deaths so far in the province, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell Balochistan said in a statement released to the press.

Nearly 1,000 patients have recovered from the COVID19 in Balochistan since the outbreak of the pandemic. Serious patients have been admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital Quetta. However, patients with mild symptoms have been admitted at Sheikh Zayed Hospital Quetta.

Most of the patients are battling the deadly virus at their homes during isolation, Mr Baig said. The province has up til now conducted over 21,000 tests in the province. The pandemic has affected 24 districts of Balochistan.
