Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has said that neither he had any personal relation nor old contact with Javed Jabbar, the former federal information minister nominated by the government to represent the province in the national finance commission award.

“10 days back I saved his mobile number”, the Chief Minister revealed this during the Balochistan Assembly session convened on the requisition of opposition members.

He recalled that Balochistan was already represented by Qaiser Bengali and Gulfaraz Khan in the NFC award so Javed Jabbar’s nomination should not be politicized. He said that the NFC forum was more political than technical and that his government was committed to present the case of Balochistan in an effective way to get its share in the national resources.

“I have seen Javed Jabbar in a  program pleading the case of Balochistan”, Jam Kamal said. He invited the opposition to come and discuss the NFC issue and find a political solution to get Balochistan’s due share in national resources.
