Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan speaking on point of order during assembly session

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan on Wednesday said Indian sponsored terrorists were involved in recent acts of terrorism in the province. “Some elements sitting abroad are involved in terrorism at the behest of India”, the Chief Minister said during the Balochistan Assembly session.

Speaker had convened the Balochistan assembly session on the requisition of opposition benches to discuss post coronavirus situation, law and order, and other issues in the province.

The Chief Minister vowed to foil nefarious designs of the elements sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan for their personal interests. “We would bring the terrorists to book and none would be spared”, Jam Kamal said.

Regarding the coronavirus, the Chief Minister said that the virus appears to be a long-term threat to the world. “This virus may become a permanent part of our lives and we have to live with this”, he said adding that his government was doing all possible steps to contain the novel coronavirus.

He said the country has faced Rs. 400 to 500 billion loss in terms of official receipts as a result of the novel coronavirus. “Government is committed to supporting the masses in these difficult times”, he said.
