Cases of novel coronavirus have passed 44,672  across the country as Sindh reported more cases. The virus has claimed around 958 lives so far as per the information shared by the provincial health departments and center.

Over 12,000 patients across the country have recovered from the deadly virus. Most of the patients defeated the virus during isolation at their homes. Cases of the novel coronavirus appear to be on a constant rise as the government eased the lockdown in the country to facilitate the people, daily wage workers, laborers, and traders community.

The federal and all provincial governments have announced to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with simplicity owing to the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the country.

As per the statistics, Sindh province has confirmed 17, 947 cases, Punjab 15,976, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 6,061, Balochistan 2,820, Islamabad 1,034, GB 540 and AJK 112 up til now.

Awami National Party leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour was also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Mr Bilour is around 80 years and now battling the deadly virus.

Sindh government, Imran Ismail and a number of politicians have recovered from the deadly virus recently. Medical experts term the virus more dangerous for elderly people across the country. Though, the mortality rate in Pakistan appears to be low as compared to other countries of the globe so far.
