The Balochistan government has imposed a ban on all types of religious processions in view of growing cases of coronavirus in the province. According to a notification issued by the Balochistan’s Home Department, the ban has already been imposed on all types of processions by the federal government to halt the spread of coronavirus.

As the Youm e, Ali is being observed on 21st of Ramazan, therefore, the administration officials are directed to apprise the religious scholars about the looming threat of COVID-19, the notification said.

The matter is urgent and important, the notification concluded.
