The condition of Quetta’s well-known cardiologist, Dr. Manaf Tareen was improved and discharged from Fatima Jinnah Chest and TB Hospital on Thursday. Dr. Tareen was tested positive the novel coronavirus a few days back and was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.
“Thank God, he is improving and recovering”, Dr. Haqdad Tareen, another famous cardiologist told the daily Quetta Voice via telephone. Dr. Tareen has been shifted to his residence after the improvement of his health condition, Dr. Haqdad stated.
In Balochistan, over 100 doctors and health professionals have been tested positive for the deadly virus so far. Most of the doctors have been battling the virus at their homes.
Dr. Manaf Tareen has served as the head of the cardiology department civil hospital Quetta and is considered to be one of the competent cardiologists across Pakistan.
