Over 30 Zaireen were shifted in a C-130 plane from Balochistan’s Dalbandin area to Skardu on Saturday. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C-130 is engaged in the battle against the COVID19 and in this regard Zaireen were shifted from Dalbandin to Skardu.

The Zaireen had entered Pakistan from Iran and were quarantined for some time at Pak-Iran border Taftan. The Zaireen appreciated the efforts of the provincial government for the provision of facilities in the far-flung area of Taftan.

The Balochistan government has established five quarantine centers at Pak-Iran border Taftan since the closure of the border. Since the closure of border, the provincial government has hosted and quarantined over 6000 Zaireen entering from Iran into Pakistan.

The border with Iran was closed on Febuary 23rd to halt the spread of novel coronavirus after its outbreak in neighboring in Iran.
