Tiger force to battle coronavirus, fund established: PM Imran Khan
The Premier addressed nation regarding coronavirus
Prime Minister, Imran Khan on Monday said the newly formed tiger force would battle the coronavirus in the country. The Premier addressed the nation and made a number of important announcements with regard to the ongoing battle against COVID19. The Prime Minister reiterated that lockdown would not be successful.
The Prime Minister stated that most of the population in Pakistan was comprised of youth and they can play an important role in this war against coronavirus.
Imran Khan reiterated the warning against hoarders and announced strict action against them in the country. This black marketing would result in increasing prices of commodities and it would be a burden on poor people of the country, he said.
Imran Khan urged upon the people to adopt social distancing to avoid the spread of coronavirus in the country. He however mentioned that the lives of aged and ill people would be endangered if social distancing was not adopted.
Mr. Khan said marginalized and poor segments of society should be given priority and they should be supported to tackle the situation, giving a number of examples of Madina State.
