In Iran, the novel corona virus continues to spread and 1289 new cases of the deadly virus were confirmed on Friday evening. Globally, death toll in novel corona virus rises to around 5000. Most of the deaths have been caused by the novel corona virus in China’s Wuhan province. The virus was initially reported from Wuhan in late 2019.
Overall, over 129000 people have been tested positive for the novel corona virus across the globe.
In Iran, the number of cases reaches 11364 with 1289 new cases on Friday. Iran has rejected an apparent offer by US President Donald Trump to help the nation in the fight against coronavirus, calling it “hypocritical” and “repulsive” and accusing the US of “economic and medical terrorism.”
Pakistan has so far confirmed 21 cases of novel corona virus since the global outbreak of the virus. Most of the cases have been reported from Sindh province. However, in Balochistan one case of corona virus was confirmed in Quetta the other day. Most of the patients tested positive for corona virus had travel history of Iran.
The Balochistan government has imposed ban on the entry of visitors to civil secretariat and prisons of the province to halt the virus.
